Once you place your order, it may not be canceled once it has been started or been special ordered. It may be canceled if we have not processed the credit card, but if the credit card has been charged and we have not shipped a 5.00 fee will apply, please click here for more information. If you change your order after you have submitted it and we have charged your credit card, the same fee applies. If you click submit on the shopping cart billing page, you will have made an order with us and agree to our terms on this page and our policies page. Don't be surprised by our shipping rates, email us first for a quote if you need it.
*Shipping Guarantees: For non express shipments, in most cases your order will be shipped within 72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays), but depending if you ordered chocolates, or on the size of your order and if items are in stock, that might lengthen the time. Communicate your needs to us. We will try to help you if you are in a rush. Please be patient, humans process your order, we're not a huge company! We do not guarantee US Priority Mail shipping orders for any delivery date but you can normally expect arrival time in two to four days after we have shipped. We do not guarantee shipping dates, just approximations for standard USPS Priority Mail shipping. It is very rare if the post office is late in delivering or loses packages, but we will not be responsible if this occurs unless you purchase insurance. We will have proof of mailing for you and you may file a complaint with your local post office if you have a delivery problem with them. We recommend that you purchase insurance to guard against loss or damage.**
Carrier Shipped Late: We cannot issue a refund for merchandise if your order arrives late by any carrier, even Fed Ex, so please order with plenty of time to spare for replacement or a delivery failure. If you were not available to sign for a scheduled delivery, this does not constitute a late delivery. Please be available to sign for your package or have it delivered to someone or some place that it may be signed for. These shipping policies cover anything that is drop shipped to you from our distributors as well. Drop shipped items always take more time than our service commitments. If Fed Ex was negligent in shipping, we will try to make a claim and refund the total shipping, but we do not guarantee this. If we made a Fed Ex label shipping error, we will refund the express shipping cost minus the standard shipping fee. Carriers cannot help the fact that severe weather or natural disasters happen and we/the carriers do not make refund claims on such late packages. If your package arrives beyond your due date, you will be responsible for return/restocking fees. If your package has edible/non-returnable items, your package will be redirected to you at your expense, we will not accept it back.
**Please note for chocolate and candy orders - Our chocolates are made fresh to order, they are not stocked. Please consider that this takes a little extra time. We especially need a few extra days during holidays. Large and custom orders can take up to a week or more to process. Please call or email us if you have a deadline. If you need a small order really fast, order by Fed Ex. The Fed Ex shipping price includes a rush delivery charge. The chocolate must be expedited to ensure it does not break in transit and must be insured against breakage and mishandling. Cooler packs are mandatory during warm weather months. The cooler box is reusable and the ice pack in most cases is a new/unused water bottle that has been frozen. We generally use water bottles because the ice is more dense than a gel or ice pack and lasts longer. We do not use dry ice. If the temperature is 90+ degrees, we recommend that you upgrade to Fed Ex overnight. You will receive an email order confirmation with these charges, so please email us if you have any questions. You must be able to sign or receive your package in person for any shipping method. We will not be responsible for the contents of your package once it has been dropped off and not in your personal care. Hungry dogs, ants or a passerby could be a problem. Consider having it mailed to a friend, neighbor or your work if you will not be at home. It is a very bad idea to have chocolates shipped to you in warm weather if your regularly scheduled mail delivery is late in the day. We do not replace melted chocolate shipments! We have a great success rate for safe arrivals, but order at your own risk. If we did not add a cooler pack to your invoice and you feel it is needed, please ask us to add it. If warmer weather is not predicted or changes suddenly, we cannot be responsible for melting if we did not ship in a cooler pack. See our Policy page, the link is to the top right. Keep your package in a cool place, 75° F or lower. Do not refrigerate unless your chocolates seem a little warm, and only for a few minutes until set. For more information on storing your chocolates, click here. If your package is insured, insurance will not cover melting, insurance only covers broken chocolates or candy. If your broken chocolates or candy are eligible for replacement, we do not cover reshipping charges. We will replace insured broken product with like product, but you must pay for shipping and cooler pack. We ship from Washington state in discreet packaging with LLK, Inc. as the return address. Most packages are shipped within a couple of days, but may take additional days if the order is large, backordered, special order items or if we are experiencing high volume sales during holidays. We reserve the right to ship your order by Fed Ex if we feel it is a better shipping method and with no additional charge to you. If you really need your package fast, order by Fed Ex so your deadline can be met - 10:00 am Pacific time deadline. Please do not ask us to rush your standard shipping order, please select Fed Ex for this. We do not ship backorders separately, all products will be shipped together if you'd like to wait or you will receive a credit for out of stock items and any shipping adjustment.
USPS does not require a signature for delivery, nor does Fed Ex. If the you or the gift recipient are not home, they might leave the package at the door or with a neighbor or at the building's office. They will not claim responsibility if the package is lost or stolen. If you require a signature, please let us know, they are charging for this service now. We can also gladly ship on your own Fed Ex Account, please put the # in the special instructions box on the billing page. We charge a 10-20% rush fee depending on the size of your order. If you need a signature release, please put your request in writing to us or leave a signed note on your door for Fed Ex to leave your package in a safe place. We occasionally ship via Fed Ex Ground, but never with UPS from our warehouse. If we are drop shipping products to you from our distributor, they will ship Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex Express, USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground in plain packaging and the same terms above and below apply.
APO, FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and US Territories for US Priority Mail at no extra charge, please add on an extra day or two. No Fed Ex to US Territories, use Express Mail for rush orders. Alaska and Hawaii add $5.00 extra to 2 day shipping price and add $10 to overnight shipping price. APO & FPO, please use US Express Mail for rush orders, not Fed Ex. We cannot track packages to military addresses, but we will have proof of shipment. If the package does not arrive, we will not be responsible for any losses, theft or damage. If the package is returned because of insufficient address or military personnel has been relocated, you will be responsible for reshipping or restocking fees. No refunds for returned or damaged edible items.

**Shipments to Warm Climates for Chocolates: For chocolate orders going to a destination or being trucked through an area that is around or over 72 degrees Fahrenheit, we will ship your order in a special insulated reusable cooler with a reusable ice pack to ensure that your chocolates arrive in perfect condition. We will add an additional $5.00 - $12.00 (depending on the size of your order) to your shipping charges on your invoice for this special packaging automatically. This covers the cost of extra shipping weight and supplies. We only ship by this method Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Thursday is the last day for Friday delivery for Fed Ex Overnight) so that the ice pack doesn't melt over the weekend. We will not replace your melted shipment shipments. If your package is insured, insurance will not cover melting, only broken chocolates. If you order gummies and candles or other products that could melt in the heat, please special request a cooler pack as one may not always be added and most people do not wish to have one.
For Gummy Candies and Candles: Please send us an email or leave a message if you think we need to sip your order in a cooler pack. We do this by request only. Candles and gummy candy have a higher melting point than chocolate, so you might not need cooler pack shipping, but you might want to consider it and especially if your package is going to be left out in your mailbox or sunny/warm porch area.
Prevent Melting Chocolates and Candies!: Our carriers will not insure chocolate or perishable goods if your items are melted. Please try to be available to receive your package when it's delivered. Consider having it delivered to work, instead of the box waiting for you on your front porch where it might be warm. Also, if you get US mail at the end of the day, that means the chocolates will be on a hot vehicle on day. This also applies if you are shipping chocolates and candies as a gift. Please notify the recipient or find out when is the best time to deliver. We will ship discreetly with LLK, Inc. as the return address. Wrong Address Provided: If you provide us with the wrong address and your package is returned to us, we will re-direct your package with the correct address you provide at your expense. If the package is lost or delivered to a wrong address because of not having the correct address, we will not be responsible. We will not be responsible for the additional postage required to redirect your package. If the contents were damaged during the return, we will notify you, but we will not be responsible for any damage. The post office will not reimburse an insurance claim if you provide a wrong address. If we have to replace items or remake your chocolates because of damage or melting, we will charge your account the full amount for product and shipping. You may opt to decline your return shipment and shipping charges if you want to just accept the loss. Food cannot be returned to us, if you do not pay to have your package shipped back to you, we will destroy the contents and you will incur the loss, no refunds. If you try to dispute the transaction with your credit card company or PayPal, we will have proof of the address you gave to us, the exact photocopy of the box and have proof of the wrong address that was provided with tracking. For PayPal orders, we go by what you enter into our shopping cart billing page, not by your PayPal payment confirmation because we DO NOT invoice or ship through PayPal. You must review your emailed order confirmation and let us know if there are any changes BEFORE we ship your package. In the event that we incorrectly address your package, we will correct the shipping problem for you right away and not charge you for return shipping. It is your responsibility to check your tracking email and make sure it is correct and follow the progress. Make sure if you have a spam filter on your incoming mail that you allow our email address into your address book or you should check your spam folder. We do our best to make sure everything is correct, accidents are very rare, but they do happen. Fed Ex charges $15.00 to change an address while it is in transit. If your Fed Ex package will not arrive to you on time because of our mistake, let us know and we will issue instructions for return on the package if it arrives after the address correction has been made. Please do not take return matters into your own hands for a return. We must issue a pick up or authorize a return. We will not refund shipping to you for an unauthorized return.
Package Returned: If your package was returned to us because you were left a notification and you failed to pick the package up or the package is marked unclaimed with the correct address or the package was delivered during a vacation period, we must apply shipping charges again if you want the package redirected to you or to another address. We will bill your credit card or you will have to send a money order for the original amount of shipping again. If you refuse a package that you did indeed order, we do not offer refunds. Your package will be redirected to you at your expense. If we mailed your package with the correct address and the post office returns the package to us for any reason, you will be responsible for the return shipping. You would have to make a claim with the post office.
Voluntary Address Change or Shipping Upgrades: For Fed Ex orders if you need to change the address or upgrade shipping and the package in en route or just been picked up, only we can call Fed Ex and authorize this change. There is no guarantee that the package will arrive in the time you need it and may even delay the package. There is a 15.00 fee for changing an address after the package has shipped. If the package returns to us, you will be charged full shipping fees that will be deducted from your returns that have a 20% restocking fee. Your credit card account will be charged the remainder if shipping fees exceed the product return total. If your package does arrive later than you wanted, please send the package back only with a return authorization number issued by us via US postal service. See shipping return above for complete details. We cannot change shipping addresses or upgrade with US mail services, but there is a 5.00 charge for changing an address if we have processed your order and have not shipped it yet.
Backorders: You will be contacted if we are out of stock on an item. If you choose to have it backordered, we will ship via US Priority Mail or First Class Mail. We cannot ship backorders out via Fed Ex or Express Mail if your initial order was such.
Do I need Express Shipping? We ship from Washington, so consider you'll get your package sooner if you're in the west. If you need your package by by a certain date we cannot guarantee you'll get your package on time if you order US Priority Mail. From the day your order is shipped with this service, it could take up to 7 business days for delivery to the East Coast. 99% of the time, packages always arrive within 2 - 3 days from the time we ship it with this service.
If you have to have it by a specific date, you will have to order US Express Mail, Two Day or Overnight services. The cut off time for Express services is 10:00 am Pacific standard time the day you order. Please do not count the weekend days for Fed Ex Express delivery unless you are ordering for Overnight Saturday delivery service. US Express Mail delivers on Saturday. They guarantee the delivery in one to two days. For Saturday delivery, Fed Ex charges an additional $12-15 to the standard express shipping charges. But if you really need it there, we're here to help you as much as we can! Use US Express Mail to deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Why are shipping prices so high? US postal rates went up and are very high. We also have to add the cost of packing materials and time put into shipping your package. Fed Ex is also high because they are providing a rush service for you. For rush and Fed Ex orders, we have to add a rush charge to the shipping prices so you can have top priority over our other clients that may have already ordered before you. Also consider the cost of shipping and packing supplies. We really try to be fair with costs and give you the best service possible with products that won't be damaged during shipping.
