Keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat source.
When you receive your package, if it
seems a little warm, but the chocolates are intact, put them in the refrigerator
for a few minutes to firm up or leave them undisturbed until they have come to
room temperature.
Keep the chocolates in the original packaging and put in a plastic bag to keep
from getting stale if you'd like.
The chocolates should last a few months if stored properly. Order up to a
few months in advance if you'd like.
Never refrigerate or freeze as they can get sticky and/or crack when thawing.
If you need to transport your shells when it's warm, put your chocolates in an ice chest
or thick box,
place a towel or bubble wrap on the boxes and put ice packs or frozen water
bottles on top.
Do not leave chocolates near a
window or on a place setting out in direct sun even if it is cool outside.
Try not to handle your chocolates
with your bare hands if they are bulk packed. Use cotton gloves. We
offer them for sale on our web site.
Make sure you are available to sign
for your package when it is delivered upon the first delivery attempt and if the
climate is warm, have shipment sent to a place where you get early deliveries
like your work.
