Shipping Timelines:  If you need your order by a specific date, write this in the DUE DATE line when you check out in the billing section or send us an email after you place your order.  Any standard shipping order over 2 pounds or has more than 36 pkgs/favor box will take a little longer than the standard shipping timeline.  Any order over 4 pounds or has more than 50 pkgs/favor box might take about three weeks.  Larger orders, please ask what delivery dates might be.  When we are in a high wedding season in spring or it is a holiday season, expect delays.  If you need your order for a rush delivery, we do add a service fee and Fed Ex shipping charges.  Please ask us if we can meet your deadline before you place your order.  We make your chocolates by hand and they are made fresh to order, they are not on a shelf waiting to be purchased.  If you want to pre-order, indicate that you want the order shipped at or by a certain date.  If you want to order a month or two in advance, the chocolate will stay fresh for about that long or longer and if they are stored property.  Click for storing your chocolate

Rush Orders:  There is a surcharge of 10% for large orders (4 pounds or more) that need to be rushed with less than two week's notice with standard delivery.   Any Fed Ex orders that are small (orders you want us to ship within a 24-48 hour time frame) will have a 10% rush fee.  Any order for 4 pounds or less that need to be shipped with a week's notice will have a 20% surcharge added.  Anything larger than that may not be possible, but please inquire.  The reason for the surcharge is because we have to pay employees overtime to stay and complete your order.  Again, please remember, your chocolates are not stocked, they are freshly made to order and that should make you feel great about ordering from us!

Shipping Costs:  The shopping cart shows prices for novelty and light orders.  Expect slightly higher prices mainly for East Coast and Midwest shipping for orders that are 1 pound and over.  Any order that is two pounds or more might not show your true cost in the shopping cart.  From WA to the East Coast and Midwest we might be able to flat rate packages from 2-10+ pounds depending on the type of product you purchase.  If a package needs a cooler pack, we cannot ship with a flat rate.  If a product is 1 pound, even without a cooler, the box and packing will make it a 3 pound package and will be about 2-5.00 more for Fed Ex shipping to the East Coast and Midwest.  When you figure the shipping weight, always add on 2 pounds extra for a 2 pound order, 3 pounds extra for 3-10 pounds, etc.  The packing material, ice pack, cooler or shipping box, boxes used to package your chocolates in all need to be factored into the shipping weight total. You can get more shipping info from our Shipping page for our terms or the US Postal web site or Fed Ex.  Our zip code is 98584.  We highly recommend you use Fed Ex 2 day for cooler pack shipping and Fed Ex overnight for temperatures over 90 degrees.  We're looking out for you and trying to save you money, we'll ship with the best, fastest and most economical way we can.  Inquire about shipping before you buy! 

Hot Weather Shipping Recommendation For Destinations that are 85 degrees or higher:  We recommend that you use Fed Ex overnight and let us know if your order is not a rush order in the 'special instructions' line when you check out.  You will be charged a rush fee if you do not specify that it is not a rush order!  Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.  More cooler pack info for chocolate is below this table.  Remember, if the delivery vehicle is NOT air conditioned, the inside temperature could be 10-20 degrees hotter than the outside temperature.

Styles/Sizes:  If our selection of chocolates do not represent what you are looking for, please let us know what you'd like to have especially made for you.  You may email us or enter in the special instructions box in the shopping cart what size and style of shells you prefer.

Coloring the Chocolates:  Send us a swatch if you have time and we'll match the color as closely as we can.  We'll let you know if we're having trouble getting it to what you'd like.  We cannot email you color samples or guarantee that the colors that you see with your computer on our web site will be what you are getting exactly.  Colors like sand will be beige, and the rest are pretty clear, but if you have any requests for what we don't have listed, let us know and we'll try to make what you want.  We can't list every shade and we don't have pictures of every color.

Quality of Chocolate:  To date, we have never had a complaint about our chocolate we use, always compliments.  Our white chocolate is real white chocolate made with cocoa butter and is not a white confection that many other companies use.  Most people who don't like white chocolate have commented that they like the brand we use.  It has a slight off white color and complements butter cream icings.  Our milk and dark chocolate are not tempered chocolate, but it is quite tasty.  If you are a dark chocolate connoisseur, you will probably not put this on the top of your favorites list, but you will appreciate that since it is a non-tempering chocolate, it will mold beautiful seashells and have a shine and texture that is wonderful.  We do not use chocolate that needs to be tempered so that we can keeps costs low and production high.  Tempered chocolates would indeed cost twice as much.  Please know that our non-tempering chocolate is not the kind you can buy at the grocery store, this is a professional, high quality grade that is sold only to bakers.

Flavors:  If you would like a special flavoring added to your chocolates, please let us know.  We have many flavors to choose from such as Grand Marnier, Tangerine, Egg Nog, Apricot, Peppermint, Lemon, Key Lime, Mocha, Cherry, Banana, Raspberry, and more, just ask if you need something not listed.  $1.00 extra per pound.  We do not flavor chocolates that are less than 1 pound in total weight.  Do not mix mint with any other flavor, the mint scent will mix with the other flavor.

How Much to Order For Wedding Cakes:  Most people order 2 pounds of the decoration package for 100 servings, 3 pounds for 150 - 200 servings.  Order some of the large shells such as the conch for focal points.  It's nice to have extra shells so that each serving of cake will have a shell on the plate.  If you need a small amount of shells and do not need a whole pound, order the smaller favor boxes and specify that you need them bulk packed and not gift packed so that the shells do not touch each other in the box.

Wholesale & Quantity Discounts:  Our shells are already priced very low, so if you've shopped around, you might have found that out.  We do not sell wholesale at this time.  We offer quantity discounts that start at 12 boxes whether it be favors or gift packs.  The shopping cart will not show the discount, we will email you an invoice with your discount included.

Your Own Ribbon For Favors:  Let us know you'd like us to use your own ribbon for favors and send it to us with plenty of time to spare.
