As of 1/22/2017 the post office raised their rates again. Our shopping cart is being upgraded this year, but for now, it calculates mostly for western state shipping pricing. We hand process every order to make sure you are charged the correct price. If you are not comfortable with placing an order before you submit an order on line, then email us with exactly you'd like to receive for a shipping quote. For USPS Priority Mail (standard shipping): If your order is 1 pound or less, it will be priced as the shopping cart shows for west to east coast. If you are on the West Coast or within a couple of states from WA state, your shopping cart price should not go up and could possibly be less. 1-6 greeting cards will be shipping flat rate envelope for 6.95 to any destination.
If you want to save some money and you're not in a hurry and you don't mind how your package gets to you, let us know you want 'cheapest way' shipping in the special instructions box when you check out or send us an email within seconds of placing your order.
Shipping to some Mid-Western states, Eastern Texas, East Coast, PR & Hawaii: Over 1 pound will start at 10.65. 2+ pounds and if we can get it in a regular flat rate box (11.85), if not, it will be 13.85+. If your order is heavy and it fits in a large flat rate box, it will be 15.65+. If we can get your order in two flat rate boxes to save you money, we will, sometimes it's less expensive to ship this way than in one big box.
Midwest shipping rates will be slightly less than East Coast rates. The closer you are to WA state, the more it matches to what the shopping cart calculates or what is posted on our shipping page, http://chocolatefantasies.com/shipping.htm
Fed Ex shipping to the Midwest & East coast may be higher that what the cart calculates because of the same reasons explained above with US Mail, but usually will only be higher than what the shopping cart shows and starting at 2 lbs. US Territories, Hawaii and AK will be higher than East Coast charges, please expect this surcharge.
Cooler Pack shipping: The ice pack and cooler box add on a minimum of 25 oz (higher for bigger orders that need to fit in a bigger cooler box) to the shipping weight of your chocolates. The most you might pay if you order less than 1 lb of chocolate, your shipping to the east coast will be 10.65. 1 pound of chocolate will be 13.85, 2 lbs will be 16.50, 3 lbs will be 18.90, etc. Midwest, southern states will be slightly less and west coast and close to WA state will be close to or what the shopping cart will show. Shipping within WA state will probably be less than what the cart shows you. We can give you a quote if you'd like to know what more weight in chocolates will cost to ship.
